The Space

The main cottage is made up of two double rooms and one twin room, with an additional double sofa bed. It has two bathrooms, with a wet room shower downstairs, bath/shower upstairs and further separate W.C.

The annex has one double room with a stunning sea view, one twin bedroom and a shared bathroom. The sitting room has seating for ten people, with a smart TV and a log burning stove, perfect for a rainy day. There is a large well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob, electric cooker, American fridge, dishwasher, television and sofa. Sliding doors open to the sheltered back garden, with a large built in BBQ. The kitchen leads onto the utility room with an additional dishwasher, fridge and pantry space.

Location

Nature has given Newport the spectacular setting of sea, castle and the towering Carn Ingli 'Angels' Mountain - at 1100 feet this makes for a wonderful view from the silver stretch of Newport Sands. Newport's cottages, tiny shops, craft galleries, church and castle are squeezed between the south side of the River Nevern and the impressive summit of Carn Ingli. A variety of activities are on offer from walking the Coastal Path to sailing and golf. The community is strong and local events centred on the sea, the history and the seasons give many reason for celebrations throughout the year. Locally grown and caught produce supply the variety of restaurants and pubs.

The Garden

The garden is large and well-tended, with a combination of lawns, banks, wild flowers, shrubs and trees. There is outside furniture (table and chairs) available on the front lawn to help you relax in front of the spectacular landscape, while the back garden, which can be accessed from big, sliding doors in the kitchen, is more protected.
